WebApr 26, 2012 · Oh, and the 99 Softails were the last to get the Evo as far as I know. The TC motor shook too much and because the ST was hard mounted it was unacceptable. They came out with the TCB motor for the ST in 2000. The only real difference I know of is the derby cover is the same as the TC, unlike the earlier 3 bolt ones. WebMar 10, 2007 · not sure bout this one BUT i learned this past weekend that the VOES cant be bypassed if using either a stock HD ignition mod or the SE module. the crane hi 4 has a selectable option to use/not use the VOES, so i assumed that i could skip it on the xl. ... Just installed Dyna 2000i ignition on my 78 Shovelhead. Hooked it up the way the instructions said, by way of the steps and diagram. The problem is the LED light keeps flashing stating that the ohms are not right for the coils, or there's a wiring problem.
