WebJun 1, 2010 · Check the heater valve on the firewall. There is a mechanism that moves the valve from flowing to not flowing. It probably just needs to be adjusted Problem solved. The valve was fine, but you pointed me in the right direction. I disconnected the control cable and manually opened it to full position just to be sure. WebMay 7, 2007 · IIRC you want to remove the cables from the bell cranks, take all the adjustment out of the bell cranks, then adjust the star wheel in the drum, you adjust the star well through a hole on the outboard face of the rotor that has a rubber plug, give a little more room than the FSM calls for, then adjust the bell cranks until the slop is taken up … Webadjustment is required, make the adjustment with the throttle depressed. Loosen the locking nuts on the cable housing and reposition the cable housing and boot as needed until the specification is reached. WebJan 17, 2008 · On the 3FE the space between the metal crimp and the red stopper should be .5-1mm according to the FSM. When I adjusted mine and finally found the sweet spot it was more like 2mm so I would recomend setting it to 1mm and then using trial and error until it feels "right". 91 FJ80 - completely stock (for now) working on getting all the PM done
