WebJul 4, 2007 · Problem has settled down now, clutch pedal feels very odd, its is very slow to return but has stopped jamming in the down position (so don't need the retrieve cable any more!). Pedal takes about two seconds to return if pressed fully down. Its a pain but as long as it doesn't get any worse, it's only got to last two more weeks then it wont be my problem. Try bleeding the system out (have someone push the clutch pedal down and open the bleed screw on the slave cylinder) and see if it improves.
