More then once on a long trip I would be sick to my stomach on the street glide with the full face. I changed and added every remedy you can think of and nothing really helped. Then I switched to a Road Glide. I get more wind from the road glide. WebAug 18, 2014 · When you have a set up where you have forward controls and your legs are placed forward on the bike, it puts your shins at an angle that points right at your helmet. The air on both sides of the bike blasts up from under the windshield and right up your shins and there is no forward coming flow to deflect it. It's a straight shot.

I bought and installed the lower wings for the Batwing, which reduced the buffeting somewhat, and raised the speed where it started to 50 MPH. WebApr 8, 2010 · I ride with a full face helmet and that seems to be much better for me with the buffeting then my half helmet for some reason. You're just going to have to either get your helmet into cleaner air or get it out of the air. I think its impossible for the manufacturers to get this one perfect since the riders are all so different. I would ride and while doing so hold up your finger right straight in front of your head and in the center of the windshield. Not your middle finger though.
